Long Time No...Read..

I've still been having some issues with posting post on here.
Every time I try to post a blog it only posts half of it..
Super annoying, but anyway!

I hope everyone has been doing great and having a wonderful year so far.

It's tax time and I'm dreading it a wee bit. I always get anxious
when we file our taxes. I'm terrified of the thought of having to pay in,
or not getting a good return. I don't know why, that's just how I feel.

I know I mentioned before that I was going to give a review on some new products
I had purchased back in December, and one day I will get a photo up here of it. But for now
I'll just comment.

I've never been a very big user of facial cleansing products but I am in love
with my Clinique cleansing set. I get really excited about washing my face and
getting ready in the morning because of it. I've never had issues with oily skin or even
break outs, but I can tell a huge difference in how my face looks.
My make up looks softer on my face now and I love it!

This is the set I use.

Go to your local Clinique retailer to find out which one is best for you!

The soap (green bottle) leaves your face feeling so silky = best feeling ever!

I've also been using alot of "ELF" make up products.
They're super cheap but good quality make up.
I've been religiously using these products from them...

Complexion Perfecter
$3

High Definition Powder
$6

This gives you that flawless look.
I can't go a day without it now.

Tickled Pink Blush
$3
It's a very soft pink color which works
really well with my complexion
because I'm so pale.

Lengthening Mascara
$3
I hate paying a lot for mascara
so this is perfect and it does what it says it will do!

Make up Mist and set
$3
This locks in your make up and it definitely works!
I can sleep in my make up and wake up and it's completely in tact.
I know you're not supposed to do that, but it seriously works very well and I
would recommend it for EVERYONE!

And of course I use Elf make up brushes. They're surprisingly very soft
for how inexpensive they are. Again, I'd recommend them to anyone.
I have the 11 piece brush set and the kabuki brush
and I love love love love love them! Did I say LOVE?!?!?!
Definitely worth every penny I've spent.
Their Studio brushes are personally my favorite. They have a longer "handle"
and I think they're better quality, Although the $1 brushes they have are nice too.

If you get some time go over to Eyes lips face!

Late Saturday posting.

Hey everybody! Sorry it's been so long. I've been having some issues with blogger and haven't been able to post any of my blogs.
So I'm giving this another try and hopefully it works.

Just because it's Saturday I thought I would do something simple and post some photos.

1) This is why I need a little girl. She's so precious! I know when I have kids I will never be able to put the camera down! I'll have tons of photos similar to this printed on canvas, showcased around my house. :)

2) My little Aspen is growing up way yo fast, she's 6 months now!!! Time flies.

3) I follow a vlogger named, dulcecandy87 on YouTube and I also follow her on instagram. She's so adorable and I love all the outfits she puts together. I am definitely obsessed with these shorts! So cute.

4) I've been wanting to have my cousin do some paintings for my house. And as I was trying to come up with ideas, I saw this photo and fell in love. Hopefully I can have her recreate it soon!

5) I love watching Teen Mom and Janelle's mom Barbara cracks me up. I found this surfing the web.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! See you tomorrow!!

* sorry I didn't mention photo credits. Most are from pinterest and another from instagram. The photo of Aspen was taken by me. :)

Random Wednesday

Hey everyone! Hope you're all having an amazing week so far!

Have I mentioned how obsessed I am with my desk?

It's not perfect yet, once I get my actual closet/office
room started it will all come together nicely.
But for now this is my simple office area.

I think it's so attractive when a guy plays piano...I don't know what
it is about it, but it's really hot. haha.
Check out this video.
I wasn't a fan of Rhi-Rhi's song until I heard this guys version of it,
then I fell in love with it!

As most people know, I'm obsessed with Jason Castro
and today has definitely been a day for his
amazing music!

Here are some of my top favs from him!

Okay, enough with the screen shots. You guys are starting to get
the idea that I love all of his songs haha.
Pretty much any song on either one of his cd's is absolutely amazing
and I listen to them more than anything else..
Makes me all happy inside. :]]

And just for fun, this video is so touching!

Hope everyone enjoys!

New Year...New Beginnings.

Or at least that's what supposed to happen, right?!?!?

I had all these great intentions of posting yesterday but got
wrapped up in rearranging my room and setting up my new desk.
I'm loving my new desk!!!

It's still a little bare and out of whack,
nothing has seemed to find its place on it
just yet, but when it does it's going to be
amazing! :)

I was thinking about New Year's Resolutions a lot yesterday.
About what I wanted to accomplish this year and what not.
But I couldn't really think of anything other than the cliche,
get in shape, eat healthier, go to the gym more often,
kind of thing...Which don't get me wrong, those are great
things to want to do! I just feel like I do that every year, and
I wanted to do something different. Half the time my resolutions aren't
really resolutions as much as they are goals. So here are a few of my "resolution-goals."

1. Capture more moments

Photo credit: Myself + Maggie (model)
I love photography and it's something I really enjoy
doing in my spare time. The last half of the year I haven't
really given myself my time for this and I really want to get back into it.

2. Spend Less//Save More
I have to explain this one a little bit. Because with the following
things I have on my list, you're going to think...whoa,she's not saving
any money she's spending it all!!
Which isn't true, we're able to put money back, I just want to put even more back.
I have a habit of picking up nick-knacks. Little space stealers, things like that.
And that's what I want to avoid spending my money on this year.
There's really not a point in half of them that I purchase and I end up
putting them in a closet and never seeing them again.
Now with that being said...here comes the rest of my list.

3. Buy an iMAC.
This is partially my hubby's idea.
He's a wee bit crazy about Call of Duty and things like that.
Although I hate to admit this and I hope he never sees this next statement,
because it would ruin everything he thinks I stand for when it comes to that game....
He's actually pretty good. And I know he gets several requests for instructional
videos and stuff like that, so he wants to get a good computer that will he will
be able to edit his videos and things like that in.
Of course I want one because I'm obsessed with Apple products now.
I'm so disappointed in my Dell that I purchased back in 2008...
I could go on forever, but that's a completely different story.
So I'm just done purchasing PC's and I'm ready for something...
...BETTER...
I mean look how gorgeous it is?!?!?!

It just looks like a boss. HAHA.

4. Buy my dream Louis Vuitton handbag.
I have wanted this particular handbag for at least
5+ years. And now that I'm a grown up with a
"grown up" job, I want to fulfill my dreams.
I think it's gorgeous, you may not..but I love it
so much..
Here she is...

It's the Neverful GM. It's a basic looking bag, but has
tons of room. And for anyone who knows me, knows
that I carry everything in my handbags, so the more room...
the better!

5. I currently have a gym membership and I used to go every night.
But once I got my promotion I've been to lazy to even think about
committing to a nightly work out again. So I keep telling myself
that I'm going to get back into my work out routine and this time
I'm not going to stop going.
It's so hard to start back up again, and once you've got over that
"I really don't want to go" hump you hit the "I love going to the gym"
phase and that's the amazing one! I love feeling like I love going.
So...I will do this..I will start making time for the gym.

6. I want to spend more time with my family and friends.
Again this goes back to my work schedule. I usually work nights, so as soon
as I get off work the last thing I want to do is go run around. And when I have
days off I've been staying home and being lazy or slaving away with cleaning.
So I'm going to try not to let that happen. I think once I start working out again
and eating less fast food, I will have the energy to want to go out and do things
again. It goes hand in hand.

7.  This goes back to the saving more//spending less topic.
I am currently taking a 30 day no spending challenge.
It's something I came up with on my own that I would
not spend any money this month unless it was necessary
or bills. One day down....30 more to go..
The first day was kind of hard, because I had already
planned on running around and spending my gift cards
I racked up during the holidays, but my awesome friend
Whitney is really holding me to the no spending.
She told me that even using my gift cards was spending and
I should wait until the end of the month to use those as well.
And I've thought about it. And I can use my gift cards to celebrate
at the end of the month! Then I'm not blowing the money I just saved.
Whitney, you're awesome and thank you for keeping my butt on the right track!
<3

8. This year my hubby and I want to start traveling.
Our first stop will hopefully be Destin Florida around April.
I'm ready for some warm weather and to see some palm trees and the beach...
OH yeah and WHITNEY AND MIKEY!
They're actually the reason we'd be going down, besides the fact that we've
wanted to go to Florida for a while.
So I'm pretty excited and I can't wait for it.

Well this is pretty much what I have came up with for the year.
I'm sure as each one of these happen you guys will hear about it!

I hope everyone is successful in their new years resolutions/goals.
It feels good to set your sights for something and reach it!
